ICM Studios is a remote base VFX studio. We are a small but growing collaboration that works within the fields of TV, film, commercials and the web.
About FX Tools
FX Tools was created to aid the setup time required when wanting to use Maya particles and Maya NParticles. You can easily create effects and it integrates well with the standard Maya fields and dynamics. The tool utilises Autodesk Maya’s expressions and per particle options to control your simulation.
With a little modification it can drive fluid simulations and be used in conjunction with instanced geometry. FX Tools also integrates the bubble tool too which lets you create and simulate Npartciles on a per particle basis. You can control the particles using locators/controls or with dynamics.
A new version of the tool will be release early 2018.
